Our Approach

Home Remodeling, Issaquah, WA

If not managed properly, your remodel can be stressful. There are a lot of factors to consider. Design features, product selections, structural changes, to name a few. This is why we have developed our "Low-Stress" system. Each of our finished projects is the result of a collaboration between you and our home remodeling team. Together we explore your vision for your new project, what your needs are, how you want your project to look, and how you will use your new space. Then we invest a considerable amount of time in the planning phase of your project, assisting you in material selections. This way, when we enter the production phase we eliminate the factors that typically cause stress during remodeling.

We feel the remodeling industry is about providing outstanding customer service. We understand we are in your home, in your personal space. Great communication, careful planning, and a commitment to excellence are key in seeing this through.

The First Step

Contact Interior Expressions for a free in-home design consultations, which can be scheduled by phone, our website contact form or by visiting our Issaquah showroom. Our showroom offers the latest in kitchen design concepts, cabinetry, granite and quartz countertops, flooring options and tile all in one space.

The Appointment

At this time, we will go over the details of how our "Low Stress" system works. A designer will discuss various aspects pertaining to your project; scope of work to be estimated, your own thoughts and ideas, and how soon you would like to start. We will also take measurements and list site-specific details for estimating accuracy.

Then your designer will return to the office to assemble a detailed plan for your project and work up a cost for your review. The cost is determined based on the size of your project, materials selected and amount of design work involved.

Once everything is finalized and the proposal meets your approval, we will then have you sign the contract. Then we will order all the parts and product specific to your project.

If your project includes stone countertops, you will have the opportunity to select your slabs and set the templates (cutout patterns for stove top and sinks) before the stone is fabricated, allowing you to verify the orientation of the stone and approve seam placement. If your project includes tile, you have the opportunity to work directly with our experienced tile designers. Now you can sit back while we help make your dream come true.

The Build

A project manager/installer is then assigned to your job that will perform most of the work and manage any sub-contractors needed, such as plumbers and electricians. Your project manager/installer will see your project to completion. We will also keep you informed on a regular basis as to the progress of your project. We are always available to you in case of any last minute changes or ideas you may have.

Once completed, a final walk-through is scheduled with your project manager/installer and issue your warranty.
